What is TeamKID?
A fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to
know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. All parts
of TeamKID connect to teach life lessons to kids.
What are the ages for elementary TeamKID?
Elementary TeamKID is for any child grades K-5.
Is transportation available for my
children?
The transportation ministry of FBCHodgenville will
transport children ages 4 and up. Any child that is not 4 years
old must be brought to the church by a parent and signed in directly.
Does preschool TeamKID study the same
topics as elementary TeamKID?
No, they study different topics. All TeamKID
units are organized around the study of God, Jesus, creation, family,
self, Bible, church, and community & world but have different meeting
topics.
What does an elementary TeamKID meeting look
like?
A typical meeting includes a Warm-Up, Workout,
Reach Out, Stretching, The Tournament, and Cool Down.

What lessons will elementary TeamKID cover?
Throughout the course of the entire year, elementary
TeamKID will cover approxiamtely 35 lessons.

What is the recognition program?
TeamKID recognizes each child for attending the
meetings, completing Bible-related work, and bringing friends with
them. Because children earn stickers they can redeem for prizes,
accomplishments between children are not compared to one another as it
would be if children earned some other kind of visible reward.
Is the gospel presented?
In the children's resources, TeamKID recognizes that
children should have opportunities to hear the gospel and respond to
it. Many of the meetings provide opportunities for coaches to
share the plan of salvation and answer questions that children might
have.
What Bible translation is used with
TeamKID?
TeamKID is designed to be used with any Bible
translation.
Is music included with
TeamKID?
TeamKID music is an important part of the ministry.
A club song and plan of salvation song will be used every year.
All of the songs are upbeat, fun to sing, and part of the teaching.
