I was born in Jefferson County but grew up in Magnolia, KY. Piano lessons started at age five and I became pianist at the age of thirteen at my home church until I went off to college. During my teenage years I had my own radio program in three surrounding counties called Sybil at the Keyboard where people could write in and request their favorite song. After college, I married and moved to Hodgenville. I spent forty three years in Banking and taught piano for fifteen years. In 1962 I became a part of the staff here at FBCHodgenville. Having a small part in helping lead the worship service on Sunday has been such a tremendous priviledge and joy. I have never considered my role as pianist as a duty to be performed but as a ministry to be fulfilled. Music has always been a vital part of my life and it has truly been a blessing to serve in this capacity.
