We use a variety of elements and styles of music in our worship experiences. It's simple, we have a broad spectrum of worshippers who respond to a wide range of worship prompts. It is our goal to use what God has given to us in talent, abilities, and gifts to proclaim the Gospel message to our community.
Children's Groups [Grades P-6] Back to Top
Our Graded Children's Choirs meet each Wednesday evening at 6:30 during the school year for an integrated music program where they learn spiritual truths, basic musical concepts, and how to lead in worship through music. All choirs meet in our Education Building at the corner of High Street and South Walters Avenue.
Music Time (for Preschoolers) :: Wed 6:30pm
Primary age children are exposed to creative singing through aural and physical activities. This group does not sing as a choir in worship. Our focus is to create a positive experience with music for them.
K-1 Choir :: Wed 6:30pm
This choir is a combination of kindergarten and first grade students who begin to explore the very basic fundamental elements of music and spiritual truths. The K-1 Choir sings for seasonal and special events.
Music Makers :: Wed 6:30pm
Our second and third grade students are given opportunities for further musical training through structured activities and more singing time in worship.
Young Musicians :: Wed 6:30pm
This choir for fourth, fifth and sixth graders, is more performance oriented with a balance of musical and spiritual learning activities. The Young Musicians sing about every two months in morning worship. Related opportunities through the Young Musicians are Kentucky Baptist All State Youth Choir, Children's Music Camp, and use of a variety of instruments.

Youth Choir :: Sun 5:40pm
The Youth Choir exists to give students in grades 7 through 12 the opportunity to serve by singing in worship services and other special events throughout the year. We sing a blend of contemporary and traditional music. We meet on Sunday afternoons at 5:40pm, in the sanctuary, then Youth Creative Ministries meet at 6:30pm. Come give us a try. We have a great time and enjoy serving our church through music!
Youth Praise Team :: Wed 5:00pm
Youth who sing, and/or play instruments such as guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, etc. are encouraged to be a part of our Youth Praise Team. They rehearse each Wednesday at 5:00pm in preparation for Youth Impact Worship.
Worship Orchestra :: Sun 8:30am
A major portion of our Worship Orchestra is made up of high School and Middle School students who play band instruments. This group meets each Sunday morning at 8:30am for rehearsal.

Sanctuary Choir :: Wed 7:30pm
Open to all adults or youth who are willing to commit to weekly rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm. No audition is required.
Sanctuary Bell Choir :: Tues 5:30pm
Meets Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm, September through May.
Worship Orchestra :: Sun 8:30am
For youth and adults, meets Sunday mornings at 8:30am.
Praise Band and Vocal Team (Praise Team) :: Thurs 6:30pm
For adults, meets each Thursday at 6:30pm.
Young At Heart Choir :: Tues 10:00am
For Senior Adults (age 55 and up). Meets each Tuesday morning at 10:00am.
