     Thanks for visiting us online. Spend some time looking around the site. We have designed it to be both informative and interactive just for you.  Our church family is made of people in and around the LaRue County area of Central Kentucky.
     The mission of our church is three fold: learning about Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus with others.  We hope to show God's love in such a way that people will exchange ordinary life for the extraordinary life we have found in a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
     As a church family, we are trying to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there is relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need.  We would like to have a contagious faith that will influence and encourage our community, one life at a time.
     Our church doors are wide open to people of all backgrounds regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey.  So whether you are a spiritual seeker who is just starting to ask questions about God and faith, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at First Baptist.
